What a gem this place is! We were passing by while on holiday and stopped in. It was raining and chilly… the little restaurant was warm and Casserole the dog came to greet us as we entered. The menu was not big but there was a great choice for gluten free for a coeliac like me. We shared the chicken katsu and then had the lamb with roast veges. It was all cooked to perfection … the lamb tender and juicy. It was a quiet cold night and it was like having a personal chef for the time we were there. We finished panecotta and peach-cots. Such a great spot! Appleby Garden Bar and Kitchen has a beautiful garden setting that makes dining outside feel so relaxed and welcoming. The atmosphere is friendly, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. The menu has plenty of great options, but I highly recommend the burger – absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.
