Cowshed Cafe & Accommodation — Restaurant in South Island

Check yourself in any time of day. Staff attend 9-10am to take payments but are also there at other times depending upon the season. Camping sites have no power but they have a range on rooms, cabins and houses for hire. All accommodation is close to the sea with both sandy and rocky beaches. We loved the atmosphere. Interesting building that was originally a cow shed and renovated. Unique design the gold fish tank is in the centre of cafe inside. Their cakes are nice. They have their holiday homes and park's history pictures book and also the sweets recipes. We bought it and want to try to bake the same things.

I gave four stars because they open for few hours and it's only in the morning. We wish they would open a little bit longer! but maybe...

Not open for eats, ad it is winter, but we have been freely given the voice of where to park the caravan, wood fired pizza oven, fire pit, washing machine and showers.. parked about as close to the sea as you can get enjoying it... ...
