Lovely little hidden gem of a restaurant. Wife and I came here for a treat meal to make a Monday at work a bit more bearable. Lovely owners and outstanding food. I had the pork katsu (reasonably priced with curry for a couple of dollars extra) and my wife opted for the spicy pork bento. The tempura batter for some items of the bento was amazingly light and had just the right amount of crunch to it. The pork katsu was just wonderful, was of a great portion size with a very proportionate amount of curry. My wife has some trouble with spicy food in that she loves it when its spicy as hell, and is often disappointed by the kiwi version of spiciness. Needless to say, there was nothing at all disappointing with this meal.

I'll be back!!! Nice environment, delicious food, and the most important thing is value for money. The size is big with a reasonable price. And the sushi is also good, not too much rice like other cheap sushi. I ordered vegie udon and 1 spicy salmon roll sushi and full. The prawn tempura and eel are also beautiful. No complaint at all. Update: I would like to recommend all of the Bento Box. They are good, balanced, big size, and valuable for money. Great food, great katsu chicken (big portion too) and sushi. The fresh rice melts in your mouth it’s amazing! The salmon is always fresh and great. I tried the spring rolls yesterday and they were really good.
