I was dining in mcdonalds gore and i was shocked to see so many young employees just standing around loitering. I went to find a manager but was stunned to be informed that the manager was unavailable. I asked to see the second in charge and fortunately she was actually available. I had told her that i am quite disappointed to see that so many (younger) staff member were standing around and leaning on the walls not doing their jobs. I had in fact seen one of the employees sitting down in the dining area just on their mobile phone. I had reported this to the second in charge hoping to see some difference in their behaviour. I decided to come back a week later for lunch with my third cousin (and may i mention he has down syndrome). we went to the counter to order our food and the employees were staring and making strange remarks to my cousin to which i am quite offended by. I tried to ignore it so my current mood wouldn't be affected by the rude employees and went to sit down in the dining area (which was also very un maintained). when my cousin went to sit down he has slipped on a spilled milkshake on the ground and had landed on his back. I am quite disgusted with the maintenance and general hospitality of this restaurant. I will not be coming back and i don't recommend you do as-well. p.s. The food that i had ordered was...
Read moreI don't think I've ever written a review before. However, the rudeness displayed by the persons at the drive through today was appalling. I asked the man if I could pay in cash, so he stuck out a green collection bucket. All good. Then returned the change to me in the bucket. The change was all coin. I couldn't reach the bucket properly to retrieve, as it was hurting my shoulder. I urged him to extend it further. His snapped reply was nope, that's as far as she goes, in a tone to suggest I would make off with it. I hardly think a 65 yo woman wants to steal his bucket. When I was placing the coins in my wallet, he abruptly informed me I needed to move out of the way. My quarter pounder was placed on the plinth outside cooling off. The coffee I order was placed on same plinth. The served abruptly shut the door. No acknowledgement. At all. We've tried this McDonalds many times over the past several years in our visit to Gore. The cleanliness of the place is subpar and the rudeness of the staff even worse. So, I thought I'd give the drive-thru a try this time. Appalling is the only...
Read moreWe parked In the car park, walked to front door to find a sign on the door saying its closed, with barrier infront but drive through is open... went through drive through, the 2 menu screens were the same showing minimal items, I asked the operator of she was able to control it to show more which she couldn't. I ordered and paid no issues... the next window I collected the drinks, the person also put out the food shortly after.. they did not say a single word to me, or acknowledge anything. I waited at the window for the guy at the window to open it and speak to me, I asked if that was all he asked if I got the drinks which I did. He then said yes you must have anything. I explained to him that he didn't say anything to me so I wasn't sure what the deal was. He then rudely gestured with his hand for me to move along and said well obviously you have everything thing... extremely rude and unimpressive. For a customer service business, there certainly...
