West End Fish Supply — Restaurant in South Island

The only thing saving it from a 1 star is that the food was actually not bad. however the behaviour of the young male staff member to customers and especially to the female staff member was appalling. He was extremely rude and belittling towards her in front of the customers and I felt really sorry for her. Fish was reasonably fresh and cooked well, the hot dog and pineapple ring were a waste of time. And chips fine but a fairly small portion compared to most other chip shops in town. Was going to do 3 stars but thats uncalled for as the food is amazing the costumer service is great but it is cold to wait for the food heating would b appreciated by many reason for not giving 5 stars is that 3 times ive order our Chinese to get home to see a whole meal missing kinda gutts u when ur a solo mum n havnt the gas to go back n u save for weeks to treat the kids to pay 4 a meal u didn't receive but thats only 3 times I now check in car b4 leaving love the very selection in the meals only place we go in timaru...

We did like the many good choices. I got a takeaway meal which was fish, chips and coleslaw. This unfortunately came in a takeaway box all together, leading to damp mayonnaise chips.
