Kebaby - Turkish Street Food — Restaurant in Te Hiku Community

A mobile Kebab store located at a business area in lovely Coopers Beach.

They unfortunately do not have any option for dairy-free meat there. We were told by the nice worker/owner that they add dairy to the meat.

Falafel is the only option for a dairy-free wrap.

The wrap is smaller than those we usually buy here across New Zealand, and that’s a shame because we actually paid more than the regular kebab wrap price elsewhere.

The Falafel was okay in taste. It seems that the salad/vegetable options to add into the wrap are unfortunately not various, and the taste of the condiments left a strange, acidic aftertaste, so we ended up leaving half of the wraps uneaten.

The person who makes the wrap is very nice person, but unfortunately the lack of dietary-restriction related food options and the taste of the food so not see us coming back again when we visit Coopers Beach in...

Lovely food, fresh and fast but I did let them know I had coeliac disease and couldn't eat gluten and they put tabouli in my salad which contains gluten. I had a severe reaction and when I called up to tell them the lady was nice but the manager was quite rude and didn't think he'd done anything wrong as the one who'd served me after I specifically told him I had a food allergy. Large rice meals are really decent value for money I usually have to finish it off in two attempts. Vegetables are fresh and tasty.

The chips taste great and are a decent portion size aswell. Kebabs are also filling and more of the same goodness I mentioned about the rice meals.

Only tried the garlic cheese pizza so far but it was really tasty and a fresh, thin base for all those folks care...
