This used to be one of our go-to takeaway spots in Tuatapere — great food, friendly service, and fair prices. Sadly, since the new owners took over, things have gone downhill. The service has become poor and the prices have gone up, but the quality hasn’t kept up.

An honest friendly roadside cafe. Simple hot cabinet food availabe, coffees, snacks and i'm sure there is more. We stopped on our way to Lake Monowai for some hot chips and snacks, we went to purchase tomatoe sauce in the little sachets.
