Quinns Post — Restaurant in Wellington

The food quality has dropped since change of owners. My scotch fillet steak looked and tasted like it was baked, fried eggs still had uncooked white, salad cibsisted of leafy greens, capsicum, and onion. Not even basic tomato was added. My son ordered meal at same time as us, but with different bar person, I advised the person taking his order it was same table as mine, as i was ordering right next to him. 40mins after I got mine, sons were still not there. A woman came over and acted like it was our fault saying "people ordered before my son" I said no they did not. Then she waved her hands at rest of restaurant and said you can see were busy. They got a refund. No apology nothing. Shame as a month prior lunch was ok, and other reviews said was good, so we decided to chance it. They seated 6 of us at 2 tables pushed together thay was realistically for 4. Not a good...

In my many years of supporting our Local Quinns Post, I have had the most disappointing experience today. Walked in around 2 o’clock to ordered fries and a banana thick milkshake, was happy that my fires had came out 10 minutes after I order (even though they were slightly undercooked ) I then had asked where my milkshake was when our food was delivered to the table and he said not far then went to put my milkshake in the machine. Me and my father then finishes our meals before my milkshake made it to me ( took us around 15 minutes to eat ) we then had waited another 10 minutes at the counter waiting for it, mind you this whole time my milkshake is in the machine and on. Long story short, took 30 minutes it get my milkshake and when I got it, pure banana milk. Very upsetting after going...

This has changed hands and I do not recommend it. When we arrived, it was very quiet, people at only 3 tables. We ordered a pie, chips and wedges and waited, waited, waited. After 30 minutes went to ask where our order was; I had to tell them what we had ordered because they couldn't remember, and after a 5 minute wait, was told it would be served in 2 minutes. We then had to wait another 10 minutes. When our meal finally arrived, we were asked what else we were waiting for (they had no idea what we had ordered). Another lady had ordered a toasted sandwich to take away, and she had waited for 30 minutes and was asking where her order was at the same time I did.

The selection is hugely reduced and the prices have gone up!!

Not worth the wait for what...
