Went here for mother's day was horrible experience. I had a party of 11 ordered the two big plates, lobster soup and chicken soup. The lobster was iver cooked the meat was dry service took for ever. To top it off I went to the bathroom. I accidentally lefty phone in there because it's already hard to manage going to the restroom with a toddler. Few minutes later I come back in to check if my phone was there someone had took it. I somehow thought people would have some integrity and return it knowing it had a babies face on the screen. Plus the restaurant screamed of pretentious rich people. For the amount I was charged I would expect this restaurant to be on the high side and people not so scummy. Turns out I told the manager my phone was missing and he said well your phone is gone now. Worst service ever skip this place is over priced and shady and remember don't forget any belongings because people will take it. We are not in cdmx or America I somehow believed people would be more like cmdx but very very...
Read moreIn my experience, dining and travelling around Nicaragua with a dog has been amazing. That was until I arrived at Los Ranchos. First they told us to leave the dog in the car during midday heat. Then they said we could leave it with the car guard, whom we don't know and unfortunately don't trust. Our dog is like our child and we aren't going to leave it with a stranger, no matter how nice he seems. We finally agreed to tie the dog behind the door in the shade with water where she wouldn't be seen by incoming customers and wouldn't disturb anyone, but the owner then changed his mind after we did this and told us she had to be outside where we couldn't see her. He was rude and refused to reason with us. The manager tred to assist but the owner was adamant and so we left. Our friends who had already ordered their food and started eating left shortly after us - a bad taste left in their mouths from the poor customer service provided and the food not worth it. We will never return and...
Read moreAs we had one night before heading to airport and Managua doesn’t offer much to do, we found this place for dinner. Excellent customer service and nice ambience. It’s mainly a steak restaurant. Their churrasco (flank) steak is what they’re known for. As this can be a stiff cut, they prepared it perfectly...medium rare tender and juicy. We got the tenderloin which was prepared properly to a medium rare (Presidente) but not as flavorful but still very good. Recommend if looking for steakhouse in Managua. Sides are ok but adequate. Prices inexpensive compared US prices for a steak restaurant in the US but expensive for...
