My wife and I are staying at the Crowne Plaza next door and decided to have our dinner at Xin Tian Di for the sake of the convenience. I read about half a dozen mixed reviews prior to coming, so I didn't know what to expect. But we just returned and it was good.
It's a Chinese restaurant in Latin America, and as someone who has about 5 and a half years living in and traveling around Latin America, that fact has to be considered, because the vast majority of Chinese restaurants throughout Latin America are bland and not worth repeat patronage. So overall, compared to most Chinese place is in Latin America, the food at this places was actually pretty good.
I should also note that the waiter we had was professional, prompt and courteous, which was good to set the right tone.
We had spring rolls and fried wantons, both of which were actually very good. We split a large plate of Kung Pao, which wasn't great, but again, by Latin American standards, was rather flavorful.
