Rich, fresh, and deep complex sauces in all our dishes. Wife had the gnocchi with a pure tasting Italian tomato sauce. Spiced nicely with a slight sweetness to complement the melted cheese and soft gnocchi. Daughter eat the perfectly seasoned rich creamy white sauce with her ravioli cooked to just the right consistency. Rich, creamy, and a wonderfully cheesy combination to the fresh spinach filling. I opted for the sea bass in a beautiful wine glazed gravy with mushrooms and onions. Veggies and mash balanced nicely. Smooth mashed potatoes, buttery, and garlicy. It's all really about the time spent on the sauces in this upscale experience restaurant. We stuck to the itailian menu, but they also have a whole protein menu that we didn't even attempt. Slight knock on the bread course. Although warmed nicely with a couple of very nice butter options, just can't seem to find that really classic artisan outer crisp bread. Three different bread choices, each with a slightly different finish and shape, but in the end, reminds me of the same soft white bread offered all over Nica. Extensive drink menu for any preference. Service was top shelf with attentive staff and great service throughout. A/C and outdoor seating options. No problems finding parking during our lunch visit. Very much enjoyed this afternoon, upscale Italian option...
Read moreI went back Saturday night and once again was blown away at how they continue to serve up quality. I had some spinach ravioli with red sauce and it tasted like something a grandmother from Verona would make. It was divine! The sauce had that tangy tomato taste and mixed effortlessly with the spinach, parm cheese and garlic bread.
And apart from the food quality, the service was excellent! The gentlemen were always attentive, polite and descriptive of the menu. The seating area was private and the chairs are super comfortable.
It pleases me to know that there are still places in Managua that no matter what the circumstances refuse to downgrade their overall dining experience. I applaud Don Guillermo and Doña Johanna for maintaining the quality and service that became a staple for an authentic Italian dining...
