My friend and I walked into a fairly empty restaurant. Most tables were empty, and there were only 2 other customers there. All 3 waiters & the bartender (seated at the bar) stared us down when we walked in and continued to watch us until we sat down. We weren't greeted. We sat for a total of 10 minutes before another CUSTOMER called a waiter to our table. My friend and I asked for the manager, and it took him a total of 15 mins to come to us. By that time, we had already left the restaurant and were waiting outside to head to a more hospitable restaurant. Needless to type, we did NOT eat nor order at Brisa this visit.
This is the 4th (FOURTH) time that I've experienced such poor customer service and professionalism at this establishment. I don't have any more chances to give this place. I want to advise THE OWNER to change management & waiters, properly train them on restaurant etiquette & customer service, or they will continue to run your paying customers away. Yesterday was my very last time coming to this place. I will gladly spend my hard-earned dollars at a better place. Good riddens.
PS: The security/gate men are the best part of this restaurant. They're very courteous, welcoming, & kind. They will go...

Brisa Place is every bit as lovely as it looks online—calm, stylish, and a real slice of Uyo’s underrated serenity. I actually found out about the place from a TikTok user’s post and decided to check it out since I was in town. TikTok didn’t lie—the ambiance is top-tier!
I ordered Ogbono soup (because, why not?) but it didn’t quite hit the mark. The waiter, in his defense, explained that the main chef was unavailable and the stand-in had a different specialty. Fair enough. Maybe I just showed up too early or chose the wrong dish on the wrong day.
Now here’s where it got… cinematic. Inspired by the beauty of the place, I reached for a Kodak moment—only to be stopped mid-click by security and a bouncer. Apparently, pictures and videos are not encouraged. The encounter was awkward enough to bruise the otherwise peaceful experience.
All in all, Brisa Place is definitely worth visiting. Just come for the calm, ask what the chef is best at that day, and maybe skip the influencer moment unless you have...
Read moreThe first thing you have to recognise is the intention to make this place an enviable spot in Uyo. I give them that — the ambience was pretty nice. However, the food had a very long way to go. My friend and I had their T-bone steak and that was the driest and most well-done steak I ever had in my life. PS: the waiter didn’t even ask what condition we wanted the meat to be cooked to. Then again, the steak was served with no gravy, just pepper sauce to the side.
Dear management, I want to commend you for putting up this pretty space. I recommend that your kitchen staff/chef should be sent to observe the cooking in some choice restaurants outside Uyo so they get more exposed to the art of catering to a global audience. Let’s help the people in Uyo understand what quality food...
