The April celebrations — Restaurant in Akwa Ibom State

This is my second time at April celebration and just like the first time the service is horrible. To be honest this return visit has to be the worst. Just like the first time we waited for 3 hours before we even got water even though we booked ahead. Sand in the coconut rice and oh Jesus 2 dead flies in one plate of the pepper soup and I'm sure all our pepper soup came from the same pot 🤮🤮🤮🤮 I'm not talk about being served hot wine with no ice cubes or how we were given paper to fan ourselves because of light issues and today is just a day after val so how can you people be so ill prepared. Seafood was not spicy and you can still smell the raw smell which says alot about how hygiene is here and it was sandy

Those 2 girls on duty today 15th February 2024 have absolutely no business working with any hospitality kind of business. They have poor attitude towards work maybe because the owner wasn't around or they are ill trained. When she was called to take the pepper soup with dead flies she sign and rolled her eyes and that's when one of my friends started asking the number of the owner. Who even serves food with dead dirty insects?

We were not received well, we paid food per person so I don't know what all that was. If you know you're you're NOT going to serve as per individual order then don't stress your clients asking for names for booking and changing our meals because we don't have this and that and we weren't informed ahead both

The fried rice and all the different chicken we had was very nice so is the aesthetic

You really need to do better and I hope this review serves as the wakeup. You nearly ruined my friend'a birthday dinner and you definitely have lost a customer and potential...

This place is very horrible. The services are bad and the managers don't seem to know what they are doing. We has a party of 30 people and where schedule to be there by 12pm and the party started arriving at 1pm.

We sat down started the occasion prayed....they had displayed an entire buffet but it was all empty. Now the made us order starters so while serving starters they can serve main meal, additional they make you make for waiter to serve.

An hr after we arrived starters had not been served water had not been served, and the waiters when asked won't serve anything.

Long story short, some of our guest left out of anger and some guess left without being served even after paying for a waiter.

And this was a 300k plus package.

Never again and I would not advise anyone...

Akwa ibom as a whole might not have an upscale restaurant that isn’t affiliated to a hotel but this spot right here will serve us for the time being. From the ambience, to the service, to the food, top notch! There is something just so heartwarming about their interior design. You should visit here on an empty stomach as they offer a full three course meal and a whole lot of varieties to choose from. Their prices are quite on the high side as per person is 12,000 naira. But considering the services that comes with it, I guess it is...
