The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with colorful African decor that added to the overall immersive experience. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and made me feel welcome right away!
The menu featured a wide array of authentic Calabar dishes, each one bursting with flavors and spices that awakened my taste buds. From the tantalizing aroma of the freshly prepared soups to the perfectly seasoned rice and stews, every bite was a celebration of Emmy Kitchen Restaurant &Bar’s rich culinary heritage.

During my stay nearby, I took a short 10-minute walk to Emmy Kitchen (Calabar Kitchen), and it was absolutely worth it! I tried their semovita starch with legendary white soup, and wow, what a delight! The flavors were authentic, rich, and satisfying—truly a taste of Calabar.
The restaurant itself was clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I did notice they had quite a few staff for such a small space, but honestly, that just meant the service was always on point!
