First of all this restaurant is everything and more. An absolute gem in the heart of Ikeja. Shocking! Something for once not on the island lol. Me and my partner really enjoyed our dinner here. The ambience was quiet and lowkey. The staff so respectful and professional. The menu and drinks clear and easy to read.

Food 8/10: Ordered linguine with pesto and prawns, smoky jollof with goat meat, veggies and plantains. The pasta was simply delicious and well seasoned. The only thing I wish they told me was that you were only given one prawn and that was an additional 5000 naira hmm. The veggies that came with my partners jollof dish was yummy, he couldn’t stop talking about. The goat meat yummy, but lacked a little pepper and the rice was good. We got a complimentary bread basket , which was delicious, not sure what type of oil they put on it, but it hits! The drink menu very refreshing, yummy, and extensive and expensive. I ordered a kiwi nojito ( mocktail) which was 6000, a bit pricey for a nonalcoholic drink. But nevertheless the drink was delicious and tasty. As for desserts, they didn’t have the one I wanted which was the sticky plantain ice cream. Bonus that there’s a lot of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free food items available.

Ambience: 10/10 very aesthetically pleasing white theme. With pretty florals, definitely an instagramable place to take pics and videos. The restroom super clean and well kept. AC was nicely room controlled and no mosquitoes in sight.

Service 10/10 on point. The staff very attentive and caring. Food and drinks came out at a reasonable time. Smiles were warm and friendly.

Overall will definitely come back to this establishment. Just be ready to spend haha, prices are a bit steep. Our total spent for two...

COAH Restaurant, Lagos – A Perfect Spot for Date Nights & Hangouts

COAH Restaurant in Lagos is a hidden gem for date nights and friendly hangouts. From the moment you step in, the aesthetics captivate you, the thoughtfully designed interiors, warm lighting, and a cool ambience that sets the mood just right. The dedicated photo area is a great touch for those who love capturing memories in a stylish setting.

The menu offers a variety of dishes, catering to different palates, and while the prices lean towards the higher side, the quality and presentation make it worthwhile. However, the VAT and consumption tax charges feel steep, which might be a downside for some diners.

Service is another highlight—the staff are professional, courteous, and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. If you're looking for a chic and cozy restaurant for a special evening or a casual meetup with friends, COAH is definitely worth...

Sigh. I truly wanted this to be a gem on the mainland….but 💔💔💔

Ambiance - ok, smallish though

Service - very very poor! We waited 1 hour for our first drink to arrive (party of 4). Last drink arrived almost on the 2 hour mark

Drinks - I got a sangria and it came in a tiny champagne glass. And it was not a sangria!

Food - after a looonngggg wait, it was not worth it. One starter never came (they came to us 30 mins after to let us know the hummus was unavailable). The chicken wings were not nice - tasted like freezer food. I got the sweet potato pasta, and it was just ok. The other dishes were just there

In all, a super disappointing experience. I will not be back. I feel really bad saying this but - Don’t waste your...

The service was very good at Coah, food came in good time and the waiter had a good understanding of the menu and what to recommend. The sweet potato pasta portion seems quite ridiculous for the price though, my partner seemed to enjoy it anyway but also shared my sentiments on the portion. I had the smoky jollof and chicken wings which wasn’t bad and the got the complimentary piece as well which wasn’t bad. For the tacos, it was okay but didn’t exactly meet my expectations. The staff are very warm, supervisor came around to get feedback regarding the food and experience which was really cool. Overall I had a great time at Coah and will be visiting again.
