The Sidney lounge Ilorin — Restaurant in Kwara State

The food here is great but takes a long time to come. The customer service is average and I think it's rated highly because of a lack of competition. They have scary looking security but I assume that's for a purpose. The environment is neat and attractive. Theres an indoor seating space and an outdoor lounge at the back.

It's expensive for some and may be moderately priced for others. There are lots of girls who look like they're from the university from 6 pm daily. I may assume some girls are here for business which makes this place a bit trashy.

There's convenient parking space, lights and good music. Did I mention the food is good? You can have social meetings here but you sometimes have to talk loudly to be heard. There's no wheelchair entrance or parking. You can take kids to the indoor seating but not the outdoors. They have a breakfast menu and a bar. If you're a guy, security will tell you to settle them when you're leaving. I was once told by a waitress that the reason my food looked poorly served was because "that's the hand I was given". There's no standard food serving. I think they can do better with the service and management.

Update: Breakfast menu is a sham. They open at 1:30 pm so you should not come here for breakfast unless you prefer to eat...

The place is very beautiful and a lovely spot for a get away, date and fun with friends. The ambience and the coziness of the place is mind relaxing. There is a pizzeria,lounge and kids play area. The designs, outdoor and interior finishing is very dope. I totally love the place. Their pizzeria has lovely wooden seats and the padded ones. Though no television while waiting but there is a background music and a charging spot to keep you busy. For those currently in ilorin, bike men don't know the place and while telling them, they can call it 'sidi', but don't mind them. You can find it using Google map. Sidney, I asked of a nice place to enjoy the evening with my friends since I'm not very familiar with Ilorin and The Sidney was recommended to me. Got there and I was immediately impressed, from the gate I was impressed with the environment. The security is comforting as well.

There's an indoor dining, outdoor bar, a garden area sort of and something that looked like a VIP area. The DJ was absolutely a bomb!!!! 😆 couldn't help vibing with the jamz he was mixing, there was also a live band (not sure if it's an everyday thing).

The prices are good enough, the palm wine 🍷 tho seemed too sour, not like I'm used to, it was almost a chore for the lady to drink it 😅. The restroom is very convenient. It's a fantastic place to hangout and dine. Absolutely...
