Chicken Republic Makurdi — Restaurant in Markurdi

Their Ice cream is good and I also love their bread sandwiche and chicken pie. Their chicken is soft but has a weird taste.Their pasta is terrible and their jollof rice is usually half done. I ate their jollof rice yesterday, I knew it wasn't well cooked but I was hungry and ever since I have been having stomach aches and throwing up. And I had to complain because I'm a regular customer and I've noticed the jollof rice is always halfway cooked. I have made up my mind to stop going there to buy food. I can get snacks but their food has no stars.They shouldn't ruin Chicken Republic's good name and standard. Plus their prices are always inconsistent. Today I'll buy a small plate of rice 1200 and then tomorrow I'll get it for 1500.. Then I'm thinking maybe they've increased the price, then another day another waiter will still give me for 1200 again and that's conflicting because it feels like their prices aren't certain. They should have a menu list for customers to choose their orders. The guys who open the doors are welcoming and respectful. Some of the waiters are mean but some are receptive and customer friendly. At least, the people of this town are grateful to have chicken republic in their area. The place looks great from the outside and crowded on the inside. Many persons will find it unforgettable to eat in the restaurant, take away is the best option as I see they need to increase the space on the inside. They barely have food other than rice, which is small in quantity. The door service is great and the desk servers are too chatty, makes me feel like they spit in the food sometimes. The outside atmosphere is brilliant and the inner side is dull, except when not crowded. They have lots of stop and buy customers and I believe they'd do more profits in the future. However, I strongly suggest they do something about the inside space and upgrade the desk service...

I have always wondered why there was no Chicken Republic in Makurdi when I newly came to Benue for my NYSC. Few months down the line one opened up and I was so happy that finally I get to visit one before I leave but to be really honest I was just disappointed especially with regards to their customers service and even the food. The lady who attended to me did not give me my balance and pretended not to hear me out when I asked her for it. To make matters worse, the Rice and fried chicken I bought did love up to its taste. And this is a place I have always wanted to be at!!! You guys have to really improve in order to keep up with the standards of the chicken...
