Awesome Benue food and meats. I had perfectly pounded soft hot heavenly pounded yam with pocho stew and okro soup with some gizzards and a walkie talkie. It was a meal i looked forward to and the poor service and smoky atmosphere does nothing to detract you from how wonderful the food tastes. Walkie talkie is chicken head and feet stuffed in the mouth.. its a childhood delicacy. Lady P basically has fresh pounded yam and meats available 18 hours daily. Various kinds of fishes and meats are always available, grilled, stewed , peppered and roasted. Titus fish, cat fish, bush meat, roasted plantain, roasted irish potato are always available. Cold drinks and fresh fruit juices are also on tap to wash the food and meats down. A heavy hefty meal for a 6 footer like me usually costs under ₦1000 naira.. so its always a delightful experience to actually get real value for money.....
