Marthas Kitchen — Restaurant in Oyo State

The restaurant is quite popular and highly recommended, which inspired my visit. The parking lot has a limited parking space, and I was forced to navigate to an adjoining facility to park without any form of direction from the security personnel.

I visited the restaurant in the company of about 8(eight) friends, and upon entry, we sat at a table that could accommodate us all. The restaurant seems aesthetically pleasing to the eye, although space management was very poor.

We were offered the menu book, and a quick perusal shows that the menu book seems to be lumped with a variety of meals charged at a high rate for different variations of rice, chicken etc., this made the decision to pick varying meals arduous.

The waitress was quite pleasant, though she seemed over worked as she had to cater to other customers and those who came to pick up orders.

We were informed by the waitress that the meals would be ready in 30min, however, it took about 1 hr to get our orders delivered, and there was no follow up or apology from the management; infact, some of my co-diners were about leaving the restaurant due to the laxity in service delivery, and we ended up with take away packs which we still paid for. The chicken isnt so tender, and the drinks served were not iced, while the ice bucket didn't contain ample ice for such a large table. In all, the experience was below par, and I had to make my displeasure known to one of the supervising...

Martha's kitchen is located on magazine road, Jericho Ìbàdàn Oyo state.

If good cuisine in an ambient environment is your thing then Martha's is the place.

The place just had a new look and upgrades to its ambience. The decor is pure eclectic and sublime. From the self opening sliding door to the art deco interior to the seats and tables...it's an eye feast.

I went in with a party of six on my birthday and we had a blast.

The waiters are courteous and polite and really friendly...(Obviously trained).

We had seafood, soups, drinks and we had to take glad bags ... The portions were real farmers sizes.

I had a perfectly prepared kiwi flavoured Daiquiri ... We had a good time...lucky for me we didn't drive we called a cab and it was a good move ... After gorging myself on the food and drinks (non alcoholic) I could not contemplate driving. We had fun and enjoyed ourselves that night of the...

Martha's kitchen always provides a satisfying dining experience. Service is better when you make a reservation with the staff ahead of time. The environment is pleasant, and it is conveniently located. Because the room is limited, I strongly advise phoning ahead, especially during holidays and on Sundays. Their cuisine is prepared to order, so you can always expect it to be really fresh. They have a diverse cuisine at reasonable pricing. The coleslaw and jollof rice cooked in house are excellent. Their continental meals, such Afang and Edikaikong, are near-perfect, and the stew??? Stir fry with fire. Please try their little chops as an appetiser; it's 10 + 10 minus nothing. On my last visit, I had poundo and edikaikong. I had to order proteins separately. It cost 7,850. Staff are also polite, however they are rarely present in the dining...
