Wimpy Ibadan — Restaurant in Oyo State

The place was serene. Food was reasonably priced with good customer service and a truthfully short preparation time (food was ready in 15 minutes) . I went with my girlfriend, but I don't think it is a very good place to go with a spouse as the seating arrangement is more like for a family setting. We however found a way around it and made ourselves comfortable.

There is also an arena outside for eating, if you don't want to eat inside the building.

Navigating to the place was not hard, we went with an ocar and came back with a Bolt ride. If you intend to go with a bike or your car, just type in 'Wimpy Ibadan' into maps and Google maps will conveniently direct you there.

I had the chicken burger and my babe had Singaporean noodles and we took a pack of BBQ chicken away. The only problem is that there is no cocktail in the drinks menu and you have to come to the restaurant with your own drink. POS is also accepted. I would recommend the place and would definitely go there...

If you are visiting Nigeria for the first time or you are a foreigner living in Nigeria, Wimpy Restaurant is one of the coolest place to visit. A foreigner will definitely feel at home here. It is located along Kudeti Avenue, Onireke GRA road, Jericho, Ibadan. It is 850 metres away from The Jericho Mall, Ibadan. This is not a road side restaurant, because it is situated in a serene and clean environment. You may mistaken it for a private residence. The compound is large enough to accommodate as many cars as possible.

They have different kinds of dishes ranging from african, asian and european dishes. They have different kinds of drinks as well. A portion of meal is big enough to satisfy an adult and the meals are very delicious. It is an expensive place, however it is still affordable for an average nigerian. They have large sitting space both inside an outside.

Wimpy is that classy restaurant you want to choose for a sit-out with a high profile client or guest. Also good when you want to give someone a decent treat.

Not cheap but not too expensive neither. What I like most about Wimpy is the quality and caliber of people who patronize them.

They also have a supermarket where you can find the highest quality of edibles, from foreign chocolate to youghout, biscuits, toiletries, snacks and what ever can make a child go from crying to yearning for more.

Owned by Nigerian brought up Lebanese, the customer service is excellent.

What got me hooked is the yummy shawama - The shawama is wonderful, filling with a very mature taste. In the last four months, I have bought over 18 shawama's.
