The restaurant opening on a mid-day, Sunday, mid-March 2023, saved me & my family from the chilly Alta noon.

The place looked beautiful, cosy & warm especially when you walk inside from the snowy street.

The hostess was efficient, quick, patient & impressive.

The food was amazing. My family, who are picky eaters, preferring Bengali cuisine, immediately fell in love with the food & made plans to come back the following day for lunch. Yea, we had lunch 2 days in a row, from this place.

The pizza & desserts were a worthy investment after cold weather...

Okay restaurant with whale carpaccio; tastes like beef carpaccio. Since I've seen whales for the first time in my life couple weeks earlier, thought I might as well taste them once in my life...

The lovely waitress tells us, though, they have a hard time getting whale meat at all. Thus, they took a traditional grilled whale dish off the main menu & only serve whale meat as tapas now.

Norway is hunting certain whales (largely mink whales) within strict annual quotas that are...

Food looked good on the paper and plate but beef was not so great. The surface was good, great umami taste but inside was watery tasteless mass and had a slight taste of liver, 3/5 at best. Broccoli and bacon was pretty dry. Maybe they were premade and just re-fried before serving? Fries had no taste apart from the frying oil. For 38€ I’ve had much better food. Beer was great though and the...
