We ordered 4 tapas dishes, a glass of franciacorta and alcohol free beer. Gambas, burrata, mushroom croquettes and deep fried feta cheese. The food was excellent! Only thing was missing is salt on the burrata, but this is minor issue. Pesto was good, the onion marmalade (which is often bad) was excellent and perfect match for the cheese. Gambas was with garlic and chilli. Just the right spicy and good amount of garlic. Croquettes were tasty as well. They also served fresh bread with aioli. Must say the aioli was really well done. Would like to also commend this place for having franciacorta on glass on their menu, which is not so common, and much better than Prosecco. The atmosphere, music, decoration, lighting was perfect, very cozy. Only negative I need to mention is that I donât feel like the waiter is trying to upsell or recommend, more or less there to do a job. As I am myself working and responsible for a restaurant, this is a bit disappointing. Service was not bad by any means, but nothing to sing about either. On the other hand the uniforms are terrible. First of all, black shirt and jeans, but white shoes and white socks. Second, the uniform was at least a size bigger than the waiter, and therefore looks comical. The waiter also chose to have the shirt neck opened 2-3 buttons that allowed us to see his chest tattoo. Highly unprofessional. I donât want to see that while I am eating. We are not on a beach. Also on the floor one can see the waiter use his phone for private usage, again very unprofessional. These are all small issues that can be easily fixed with some adjustment, so I would definitely come back...
Read moreThe food is really good and they have a great selection of tapas.
We would frequently take the beef burger that they serve (I believe it's called the Anchas Burger) and it was completely fantastic.
However at some point they changed the bread and the meat and it became of terrible quality, dry and unappealing.
Further to this, a policy was introduced where the waiter asks to write down how much in tips we would like to give. If I want to give a tip, I will and I don't need to be asked to write this down on their receipt. It feels rather awkward and unnatural for a...
