We went to Mirawa for dinner, and the moment we went in there, the nightmare was meant to happen. The staffs had long sad faces the whole time, the only squeezed out smile was when we were going to pay and leave. In the short time between getting seated down and coming back from washing my hands in the toilet, the waitress apparently came 3 times to push us to order, and when we said we needed more time just to at least finish reading the menu, she just gave us this annoyed look and went away looking completely pissed, as if us being there is wasting their space (which was almost completely empty). And then the food came. Just an personal opinion from a native Chinese person, those food might have chinese names, but in no universe were those food Chinese! Not anywhere close! If you were ever in China, you will never find any food that unpleasant. We ordered Scechuan Lamb and a stew with scampi, beef and chicken, but If you spoon those different dishes out on the same plate, they will look like they are one same mess. They were basically just some vegetable and protein bites soaking in the mud like brown/black 'sauce'. The more annoying thing has yet to come. When we went to pay the bill, their card reading machines just kept restarting themselves when i put in the card. After 3 times, without finding out what the reason was, the waitress just decided to blame us. Not knowing that I am Chinese, she was saying in chinese: why are these two so annoying, screwing up both of our payment machines, what's their problem... And I was just like, what is wrong with this place? How can they even still exist with this type of disrespectful service attitude?! This is the place where, if possible, I will give them minus tips. No, actually, I would not even pay a penny. They should be paying us for enduring their ugly serves and disgusting food. And here, if ever possible, this place should be the one to...
Read moreFood is not that good, and the service is totally none existing! This is been a thing many times. Can't understand that this restaurant have been able to survive for over 30 years. Staff is totally none welcoming, never got a smile and seems annoyed that they got some customers that they have to serve on a day were there is nothing to do.
Food was not great and among the lowest quality Chinese food we have had, but the portion is big, and price is ok.
Main disappointment is the service! The visit here ruined the birthday dinner we wanted to have on a...
Read moreNice China restaurant with a large menu. The service is always good, but can be a bit slow. The food is very good for its relatively low price point. I highly recommend their schezuan dishes if you can take a little spice.
The restaurant is equally well suited for a family dinner, a romantic dinner for two or a larger gathering. Just remember to reserve tables a few hours ahead or you might be...
