AVA RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Harstad

The service is horrible. The person working there is rude, dismissive. We initially ordered a pizza to eat-in, but his attitude and language were completely off that we had to pack it and have a take out instead.

Moreover, we ordered one double espresso that cost 70 kroners (~€7) initially. I saw the price, and wondered how could an espresso cost this much? (At a take-out no frills restaurant) And of course once I questioned the price, it dropped to 35 kroners.

A restaurant is much more than just food, and I hope this review makes them realize that so they could reflect a little bit on their actions. For the time being, I would not recommend this...

Surprised and confused by this place, it has all of the "western fast-food" items, but it has a very elegant and classy vibe, very interesting spot.

The food was very nice, the biffsneider was very tasty and well cooked. The sauce was amazing!

The girl at the counter was very warm and helpful, despite the language barrier (I didn't speak Norwegian, she didn't speak english) we managed to communicate just fine and she explained the difference between a couple of dishes.

I had a fantastic experience at Ava Bar og Spiseri in Harstad! The pizzas were absolutely delicious, with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Creating my own pizza with five favorite toppings for just 159 NOK was a great deal. The high level of service we received, along with the friendly owner, made the visit even more enjoyable.
