La Pergola may boast a stunning location, but sadly, that's where the charm ends. The food is average at best and definitely overpriced for what you get. However, the most disheartening part of our visit was the service—or lack thereof.
Our server, Carolina, was visibly uninterested from the start. Not a smile, not a hint of warmth. When we politely asked for some chili oil, she curtly replied that the restaurant was closing soon. Upon asking again, we were told it was only available for an extra charge. The entire interaction felt dismissive and transactional, as if customer satisfaction was the last thing on her mind.
It's genuinely disappointing to experience such poor service in what’s supposed to be a reputed hotel. The view might be worth a stop, but if you're hoping for a memorable meal or welcoming service, you’re better off elsewhere.
Wouldn't recommend dining here—go for the view, skip...
Read moreQuite literally my worst restaurant experience in many years. Noisy and cramped even though we did book a table in advance. Was not shown to table, only pointed in a general direction. Service was sooo slow, took 10-15 minutes just to put in a drinks order, and then another 10 minutes to actually get the drinks. Some menu items were unavailable. Serving size were small and server did not offer to add more pasta or bread, even when asked. We were not asked once before we finished if food was okay or drinks to be refilled. This restaurant has a service level worse than any fast food place. 0/10...
Read moreAs per Google, they close at 23:00. Me alongside my wife and two kids went there at 22:30. The server at the bar was so rude. He said very rudely that they are shut. We didn’t say nothing except “are you open”?. These three words and the guy said very rudely that we are shut. We were shocked to see the hate on his face. The guy might have had an issue with his manager or he was just sick of his low paying unappreciated job but there was no reason that he should be rude with customers. He won’t last long. I won’t recommend this...
