If you’re debating whether MANA lives up to the buzz—trust us, we wondered the same thing. The answer? Absolutely.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a clean Scandinavian interior softened by flowing curtains and greenery that makes the space feel warm rather than minimalistic.

But let’s get to the real star: the food. The tasting menu takes you on a journey through flavors that feel both global and distinctly local. Each dish is a creative interpretation, built from locally sourced ingredients and presented with a playful twist.

We opted for the non-alcoholic drink pairing, and it was spot-on—thoughtfully designed to elevate each course rather than just accompany it. Highly recommended.

Our personal highlights? The beef tartare, reindeer, and fish tiradito were all outstanding. And the palate cleanser—a pickled cucumber granité—was a surprising, refreshing “wow” moment we’d never experienced before.

Service was another highlight: friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun, with just the right amount of storytelling about the dishes.

Whether you’re planning a date night, a dinner with friends, or you’re simply a foodie tired of the usual pizza, pasta, and burgers in Trondheim, MANA is a must-visit. It’s a fresh and exciting addition to the city’s dining scene—one that’s worth every bit...

We tried their full menu, an 8 course meal with quite varied set of dishes, from biff tartar, via dry aged hailbut, to geitostsorbet and rabarbra.

Quite excellent food, some surpricing taste exepriences, friendly service and grest atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious, set in what appears to be the cantine for a set of offices in the building.

We enjoyed the company and service and the food. Some of it quite local, like the chocolate desert with river berry that apparently was the result of a successful slang in the lade area (slang=norwegian expression for the well established (for kids mostly) tradition of illegally picking berries without the owners concent, often in the darker hours of the...

A delightful meeting of friendly service, delicious food and elegant setting. A truly special experience, Daniel and Millie delivered friendly atmosphere like it was the daily special, and the food itself was even better. Three courses of pure heaven, perfectly matched with wines fit for the table of Dionysus. Five stars, and shame on google for not letting us give Mana...

We had the full tasting menu and the wine/cocktail package. Unique tasting experience, to have cocktails to some of the dishes was a nice surprise. Very service minded staff with good knowledge about the food and wine/cocktails. This is the Restaurant you should test out in Trondheim now.
