VYDA restaurant — Restaurant in Trondheim

Very friendly and good service. The owner recommended bún bò Huế, phở, bánh xèo, and bún cha heo quay. We had phở, bún bò Huế, and bánh xèo. They were all REALLY GOOD! The phở had a meatballs, rare flank steak (tái) and some beef bones with some meat that melted in your mouth - my mouth is still watering thinking about it. Bánh xèo very crispy and good. Highly recommend.

Front page of menu is what I recognize as the traditional Vietnamese dishes. Second page looks good too if that’s what your looking for but probably more like “Chinese” take...

Good authentic Vietnamese food. Have had almost all of their speciality dishes. Can really recommend the Pho cooked with real bone broth (not really common in Trondheim). Also they serve one of my favourite Vietnamese dishes which is bo bun with spring roll and beef.

Another dish I recommend is Nem Nuong which I haven't seen served other places in Trondheim. Great restaurant to go to for eating...

Amazing! Finally found an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Trondheim after 15 years. It felt like for years all the other “Vietnamesisk” places here are just Chinese restaurants masked as Viet places. Run by real Viet people, they make a lot of the hard to find classics like bánh xèo and nem nuong as well as the more Norwegian friendly dishes....
