We are from the USA and absolutely love enjoying the local treats of Oman! This little shop with its cute atmosphere on the corniche with views of the lighthouse lit up at night is a memory we will always cherish!!! The food that we tried is amazing and shouldn’t be missed - sweet corn from a steam kettle outside the shop seasoned with butter, chili, and lemon juice and served in a cute styrofoam cup!! And a delicious Oman treat of fried dough balls (luqaimat) coated with simple syrup and sesame seeds! And the traditional sweet Karak tea which always hits the spot.
