I recently celebrated my birthday dinner at Crowne Plaza Salalah, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening! From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. The staff, especially Puja, Tanveer, and Chef Rock, made me feel incredibly special and welcomed.

The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared to perfection. Chef Rock truly outdid himself, ensuring that each plate was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor. The attention to detail in the menu was evident, and everything I tasted was nothing short of amazing.

What made the evening even more memorable was the surprise of a complimentary cheesecake from the staff. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal—rich, creamy, and simply divine.

Came in because of the good reviews. After a long way to get there the waitress told us we can’t order “a la carte” and can only get the buffet. We agreed, pouring the food most protein dishes were empty, the food was cold and what we managed to put on our plate was below average. When another waiter tended to our table we told her we didn’t like the food and if we can order something from the menu she said of course. Apparently we could have ordered a la carte. We told her what had happened. She called the manager and to compensate he offered to make us pay for 2 people instead of 5 and that we could order a la carte and so we did. Not affordable btw Anyway the a la carte meals were decent, but when we decided to pay An extra person was charged for the buffet and the manager was nowhere in sight to discuss with. Staying at the Crowne Plaza for four nights with the Ocean Blue Beach House directly behind it on the beach. Having been to nearly 20 countries and having this as the first review I am leaving on google should say something! Fantastic service, I cannot fault the team working here, especially Shiela who was tending to the floor most nights. She made my family and I feel very welcome and ensured everything was up to scratch. The food was top notch with an international buffet style and set menus on certain nights. The variety of food will ensure there is something for everyone, the wok station is a good place to start! The place is well maintained and very clean. They had live music every night of our stay which set the atmosphere.

The only downside is on the first night the shisha that was given to me was broken (the hose was split when it was given to me and at no fault of my own) yet I was still charged for it.
