Oriental Shinwari — Restaurant in Karachi Division

Had the worst experience in terms of service. And i think i should share it for public service.

1)Waiters are mostly overwhelmed and nobody comes to the table unless you yell or wave violently to gain their attention Usually takes 10-15 minutes.

2. Waiting Time: Takes almost 1 hour for order preparation.

3)Food: Order mutton and chicken shinwari karahi. Chicken tastes good.If someone prefers mutton- better find someplace else.

4. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is good and family friendly. Enough seating arrangements available. But again if you require any change- and resort on Waiters, it's gonna take a lot of effort. Incase of

5. Washing Area: Working but could be improved - no soap in dispenser and no napkins available.Lacked in cleaning as well.

6)Menu: Although it boasts a large menu- many items are not available as displayed on the menu. Mutton rosh and Kabuli pulao were not available for example in our case.

7. Billing: Scam starts here. They don't provide you with an authentic bill but just a receipt.Avoiding taxes. They tell you that they are doing it to save you 15% gst. Which if you demand to pay- still won't provide you with authentic bill with NTN number.

8. Manager: The worst part about the experience was the female manager who has anger issues. When we paid the bill told us to- take pictures of it - when refused started showing tantrums. She is the worst thing about Oriental Shinwari.

In short - find a better place - even a dhaba would provide you...

If you are absolutely free in this world (and probably the next as well) then do plan a visit here. The place is nice and has got good ambiance and time would literally stop here not because you mesmerize in the beauty but purely because no one would attend you. After some time you'll feel that you might be invisible or something because absolutely NO ONE is bothered that you are here. Menu has got many things on it but waiters here are endangered species. You won't find one untill you complete 2000 steps inside their venue in search of them and you might have to catch one and drag him to your table. If you engange one waiter it means that you've enganged 33% of their work force because there are only 3 waiters for the ENTIRE restaurant. Chances of seeing a waiter is one in a billion within first 37 mins of your arrival, after that you might see one but you'll have to wait another 29 mins before he comes to you for cleaning the table which the previous coustomers left dirty. To be honest, after such warm welcome, taste of food goes on back burner. Anyways, giving it One Star because Half Star doesn't exist. Enjoy at your own...

Ordered the food for dinner tonight worth Rs-7000. Ordered shinwari chicken karhai the chicken was very hard to chew they need to improve their quality of chicken. Also ordered Bbq platter except malai boti and chandan kabab everything else was dry and hard to chew specially chicken tikka ordered Naan which came cold and hard. They said you will get your delivery in 40 minutes but came after 1 hr and 20 mins. When checked the bill these cheap minded people even charging 40 and 50 rupees for containers and packaging for god sake literally go out of cantt and eat fresh and much cheaper food than them not...
