Tandoori Hut — Restaurant in Karachi Division

Tried Tandoori Hut's breakfast Friday on independence day. We were too excited because it was the very first time that we were going to try breakfast at the boat basin food street. But there was something which was the opposite of our expectations. The first thing was too much crowd there, which they were not able to handle properly. We have to wait for a long for our seats, and when we got it, Waiter told us that if you want to eat Halwa Puri, you have to wait more 45 minutes, and it was too much for us. So we ordered 5 Plain Paratha, one Chicken cheese Paratha, Channa and two Doodh Patti, which was cost us 1100 PKR, which was really too much for this order. But anyways, taste of food was fine, that's why I rated here four stars. And the place is Accessible for ♿ Wheelchairs because there are no steps...

Tandoori hut located at boat basin food street, it's a big place for and environment is very pleasant, you have so many options to sit on takhat (a wooden table with pillows) chairs outside, sofas in family section, and even private space for 20 to 40 peoples for a small gathering either personal or professional, washroom is only 2 which is i think is not enough for such big restaurant specially on weekends. Parking area is huge but crowd in weekends is more huge than parking so lucky if you get in and out without hesitation. One of the worst decisions I made opting to have dinner there on July 12th. Ordered full mutton karahi & Chicken paneer malai with salad & raita. The 'takht' & 'gave takia' covers were all dirty. As post dinner I saw the table boy cleaning the cover with the same cloth as he cleaned the table - wiping all grease etc. Plates were not clean rather one had badly broken edges. Order took more than an hour despite not being so crowdy. Both dishes were average on taste. Raita was also their own & not good at all. The place has a menu of 200+ dishes & I wonder if anyone had gone through it yet. Only if they had a few dishes with maintained flavor & proper hygiene & good service. Too pricy as well plus no respect...
