Bundu Khan Sweets & Bakers Selling Sweet Poison, and if you point out they do have attitude problem as well – Beware!

Hey everyone, I just had a shocking and frustrating experience with Bundu Khan, and I think it’s important to share it with all of you, especially if you're thinking about buying sweets from them.

I bought “Qalaqand” and “Kaju Katli” from their store as gift packs for my business associates in Malaysia. Sadly, it was so embarrassing getting msgs that the sweet was rotten , contaminated , with full of visible green fungus on them!

I went to the Bundu Khan store to complain, and you won’t believe the attitude I got. The manager straight-up refused to accept I even bought the sweets from them unless I provided a receipt. (Luckily, I had my bank transaction SMS as proof.) Then, he started blaming ME for coming to complain after 10 days, despite the fact I was in Malaysia for that long! When I showed him photos of the fungus from just 3 days after purchase, he still refused to take responsibility. He claimed the sweets only have a 1-week shelf life and got ruined because I opened them after 10 days, totally ignoring the fact they were already spoiled within 3 days of buying them. When I told him I am going to report Punjab Food Authority , he said “Jo kar sakty ho kar lo” ….

So, to anyone thinking about buying from Bundu Khan – BE CAREFUL! I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same experience of getting "sweet poison ” Stay...

One of my favourite bakeries for their sweets (mithai). Their special sweet (mithai) is really good. Their Afghani Luddo, Kaju Katli, Injeer Sweet, etc. They are actually really really good. I wouldn't really recommend their cakes or other bakery items. Their bread is fine too. They have good halwas and their Ras Malai...
