Double Shot cantt — Restaurant in Lahore Cantonment Tehsil

A wonderful addition to this market and coffee shops in cantonment area. Highly recommend the coffee, would prefer takeout if you visit during busy hours. Coffee 5 Stars Seating Capacity 3 stars. The coffee was amazing, tried the Iced Hazelnut Macchiato also described as their signature coffee and it was perfect. Also tried the iced Spanish latte which was nice as well. The coffee only comes in one standard size, which could improve by adding at least 1 bigger size option. The staff are very polite and helpful, the place was extremely busy but still got our coffee pretty quickly. They have a lot of confectionery items that looked pretty nice, though we did not try any so no comments on that. Their Menu is on the wall in form of small tiles and it has the price as well as calories per serving. The only downside is the seating capacity. They have almost 4 small round tables and approximately 12 ~ 14 chairs cramped between the entrance and order counter. We visited around 6 PM on a weekday and the place was full and extremely loud, where it was difficult to walk in and hear the staff. Also once we placed the order we had to somehow find a spot to wait as there was no place to sit and where we found standing space we were covering...

The star here is undoubtedly the coffee. Brewed on a Victoria Arduino Eagle One, it's consistently great — perfectly balanced with a bright acidity that makes for an exceptional flat white or latte. (A heads-up: that same acidity can make the straight long pulled 44g espresso taste quite sour.)

However, the overall experience doesn't live up to the brew. The ambiance is surprisingly claustrophobic due to very low ceilings and cramped walls, and the seating is hauntingly uncomfortable. I had my shoulder pain back in just 40 min. sitting. The food is a major miss; the vendor sourced sandwiches and croissants are ruined in the microwave and panini grill. The service is slow and not sharp enough to cater the influx during rush hours on weekend.

For the best experience, I recommend a simple hack: take away your excellent coffee and enjoy it with a fresh croissant from "Baked," a fantastic bakery a minute's walk away. If you visit on a quiet, non-rush morning, you might snag a seat to enjoy the nice view for some...

Double Shot as always been a great experience for me. Since the first time i went to double shot , i found that the staff is very welcoming ,the coffee is very fresh and suits my palette perfectly. I have had the chance to try their desserts and savory items as well. So far nothing that i have gotten from double shot has disappointed me. From the smiling staff order takers to the support staff , everyone is busy doing their part in making this machine run smoothly. Perhaps the best thing about them is their opening time. If you are an early riser and want to start your day with a great cup of coffee , then Double shot is the place . They have no added a drive thru venue as well which makes it the first of its kind. 7am coffee runs now take less than 5 mins . I just hope that Double shot can keep up this high standard of customer satisfaction...
