Read moreWAFir. Although WafiR has been doing some rounds for quite some time now. This was the first time I recently tried it. They specializes in Levant Cuisine. Location :- Girja Chowk , Cantt , Lahore They have recently opened a new branch in DHA Y block as well with sitting area though I decided to try their food from their Cantt branch. Which is only for takeaway , car hop or deliveries. . After a thorough look at their menu ordered the following items. :- . Lamb Shawarma with Extra Meat Meal (Flalfel and Drink) . Chicken Shawarma with Extra Meat Meal (With Potato Cubes and Drink). . Humus topped with Chicken along with Saj Bread . Lamb Shawarma meat Salad 🥗 bowl 🍲. . Drinks 🥤 and drips. . Shukr Allahumdulilah on the whole their food is very nice and tasted delicious 😋. I loved 🥰 their chicken shawarma fully packed with flavors, topped with right amount of veggies 🥗/ pickles 🥒 and their superb spicy Wafir sauce wrapped and toasted to perfection. Awesome 🤩. Lamb Shawarma was also quite nice 😊, the quality of the lamb was very good 😊 and I really liked the taste overall. The labneh , veggies 🥗 and pickles all added distinctive and unique flavors. Though I would have still preferred a bit seasoning if possible on top and they should have added their Wafir special sauce in lamb shawarma as well. Rest was amazing 🤩. Humus was pretty 😍 good. Enjoyed it with their toasted saj bread 🥖 and wow their garlic sauce might be one of the best so far I have tasted in Lahore. So overall a nice encounter and inshaaAllah will be coming down again to try more items. Receipt 🧾 is attached for...
The overall experience was highly unsatisfactory. While the food quality was commendable, the portions were significantly inadequate, and the pricing was moderately reasonable. However, the customer service and take-away services were exceedingly disappointing. To begin with, the shop's layout was cramped, offering limited space for customers to stand comfortably. Additionally, the take-away staff consistently seemed rushed and unresponsive, ignoring customer queries. Moreover, there were consistently long queues, resulting in extended waiting periods for food orders. It is perplexing why Pakistani businesses do not invest in enhancing their infrastructure to provide a more comfortable experience for customers. This disappointment persisted across all three of my visits. In the future, i will prefer Beirut or Sultan Basha, where I anticipate a superior dining experience. If one is willing to endure subpar treatment in exchange for good food, and doesn't mind a prolonged wait, this place might be suitable. However, based on my repeated visits, my overall assessment of this restaurant...

Chicken Shawarma : pretty fulfilling🥹 and more than enough for one person. ❤️You could try sharing with another too. We had it fresh and the sauces were yummy. However, I do feel it resembled more of “Sarookh” Shawarma than a classic arabian shawarma, which mainly has pita bread with shawarma chicken, garlic sauce, fries and picked cucumber.
Garlic Sauce: I would suggest them to make the sauce more garlicky tho, as it sort of has more of a neutral flavour. (My review is from my experience having lived in the Gulf :p and eating shawarmas v often)
Best PART: They offer local cold drink (Gourmet) rather than Pepsi/coke instead. Made my day :,) it is extremely rare to find an eatery that does so, and this is the primary reason I even ended up posting this review.
IMPORTANT: There isn’t enough space to sit inside however, you gotta pick up and go. Considerable waiting time as well. We got ours in 15/20mins though, at an...
