A.A Everyone ! I usually don’t give reviews especially the negative ones but I had a terrible experience here and just needed to share it so others might benefit. I was looking for a cool place to dine in with my wife and kid. I found it online, as I am a Meezan World Debit Card holder. This place is marked for 30% discount with 2000Rs cap. Offer seemed nice, while reviews and pictures of the La Cornucopia on google also confirmed to us that we should go there.
Ambience was cool while music was bit loud and not a background music.
We ordered Moroccan Chicken, Fettuccine Alfredo and french fries for my kid. Fries were below par Dhaaba style, over-cooked, too oily and just not equal to the caliber of any decent cafe or restaurant. Sauce in Moroccan chicken was too salty, while chicken was ok, nothing special or a nice restaurant quality level . Fettuccine Alfredo was also just ok, with low quantity of chicken. Serving portion of pasta was ok but of Moroccan Chicken was smallish. They offer NOTHING complimentary as in many restaurants and cafes in Lahore. Service was ok in general but while we were eating, we needed tissues as only a single tissue was on our table because it wasn’t restocked, but no one came to ask us while eating if we needed anything.
After ordering the food, I went to the toilet and they are too small, below par and require maintenance too. Basin’s Tap was broken among other things. Also you would to go all the way towards outside the dining area building to go there, so the access to toilet isn’t just ideal.
Last nail in the coffin was the card discount. Firstly, before making a food order I asked a server if they are having discount on my debit card and he said yes. The other one said there is discount but it’s capped to a 1000Rs. Later when we were making the payment the cashier said there is no discount. I was astonished. Upon giving him the Meezan Website’s reference, he said that the discount had just discontinued a day or two ago. I was shocked, but couldn’t argue as I was facing internet issues on my phone for the last 2-3 hours both with the Wifi and Sim data. Otherwise I would have shown him the Meezan’s website discounts. So unfortunately paid the whole bill amount. Next morning right now as I am writing a review, I also have made a complaint on Meezan Bank’s helpline and they confirmed its a violation on La Cornucopias behalf.
We went for the dinner around 9pm on a Friday. Place wasn’t crowded, only 4-6 tables were occupied. Would never wanna go there again ! Highly not recommended. Please stay away from a scam and definitely from an undervalue for...

Nestled in the heart of the city, La Cornucopia Ristorante beckons diners on a tantalizing journey through the flavors of Italy. My recent visit to this charming establishment was nothing short of a culinary odyssey, as I sampled some of their finest offerings, from pasta to grilled sandwiches, accompanied by a refreshing mint margarita. Here's a detailed account of my gastronomic adventure:
The pasta at La Cornucopia Ristorante is a true testament to Italian culinary prowess. Each dish is a symphony of flavors, with perfectly cooked pasta enveloped in a rich, velvety sauce. Whether it's the creamy indulgence of Alfredo, the robust tanginess of marinara, or the fresh vibrancy of pesto, there's a pasta dish to suit every taste preference. Each bite is a blissful escape to the sun-drenched hills of Tuscany, where simplicity meets sophistication on a plate.
Moving on to the grilled sandwich, I was treated to a culinary masterpiece that exceeded all expectations. The bread, toasted to golden perfection, provided the ideal canvas for the decadent fillings within. Gooey cheese, savory meats, and crisp vegetables melded together in perfect harmony, creating a symphony of flavors and textures that left me craving for more. It was a comforting embrace in sandwich form, a reminder of the simple pleasures of good food done right.
To complement my meal, I opted for the mint margarita, a refreshing libation that danced on my palate with every sip. The cool, invigorating mint mingled harmoniously with the zesty tang of lime, creating a drink that was both uplifting and satisfying. Sipping on this delightful concoction, I couldn't help but marvel at the artistry that went into crafting such a refreshing beverage.

After visiting it thrice; just sharing my 2 cents:
Decor: My upfront apologies to those whom I offend, but the interior and ambiance gives a 100% feeling that its owned by a catering company. The stained velvet sofas, lighting, cutlery, plates, goblets, every single thing is spealing out loud that its a side venture of a banquet hall. The sitting is not the best in terms of comfort, the difference between table height and chair is something they need to work on.
House Rules: Though i personally have neutral approach to it, but the “No child Policy” i doubt would be much welcomed here in Pakistan - we will be hearing complaints about it soon, if not already.
Above all, its no where close to a boutique restaurant or fine dining for such a strict policy.
Floor Plan: A very “Instagramable” place; no wonder you will find many tik-toker grade video shooters there, but its almost a mile of walking if you intend to use the rest room. Like said they factor of a “Side Kick” of a Banquet Hall is repeatedly evident.
Service: Most of the staff is from Gilgit Baltistan, super presentable, courteous and happy to help. No complaints whatsoever. Order speed and accuracy is again a 100%.
Menu Offering: Very limited choices - taste is fairly okay. Dont keep your hopes very high. Its like a cafe style single serving menu nothing “Exceptional” or “Exclusive”.
Value for Money: Can be easily categorized to be value for money. Food bill would be around 2000-2500 per head. Which is okay keeping in view competitors. Consider it to experience a 10K-ish per head wali shaadi attendance in just 2500 per head. So not a bad deal after-all.
Would I visit again: Definitely yes. I am putting a review; not a complain.
Happy...
