Tenerife Café A Complete Disaster – Horrible Experience at Tenerife
I have been a regular customer of Tenerife, but after this experience, I will never return, nor would I ever recommend this place for any event. If you’re planning a special occasion, this is NOT the place to trust.
For someone anniversary surprise, I booked a setup, expecting a well-organized event. Instead, they messed up the decor completely—they put a birthday neon sign instead of an anniversary one. The worst part? Miss Rida, who supposedly manages their decor, was completely unresponsive. I tried reaching out to her before 5 PM, but she didn’t even bother to reply. Later, I was told her off timings were till 7 PM—so why didn’t she respond earlier when I needed clarification? I was charged 15,000+ tax for a decor that wasn’t even what was promised! When I complained to the restaurant staff, their response was, “She’s not available now.” How is that even an excuse? She represents the restaurant and should be accountable!
To make things worse, when we arrived at 7:30 PM, instead of fixing their mistake, they blamed us for being “late” since our slot was from 6 to 8 PM. I clearly told them we’d be leaving by 8 PM sharp, so it should not have been an issue. But instead of accommodating us, their staff, Mr. Nadir and Mr. Zeeshan, were extremely rude and dismissive. However in terms and conditions it was mentioned that Extra 5000 would be charged dor an extra hour, and we were okay with that too ! But the management and staff decided to be rude and disrespectful rather then admitting the mistake and turned everything towards late coming which had nothing to do with that ! If we were late that was surely at our part and we still had 30 mins for cake cutting ceremony and then shifting to public seating rather than the garden area we booked. But they did not bother to be apologetic which led us decide to leave the place as it is and wasting our 15k for facing such rude behaviour.
By 8 PM, we left without being served any food, even though they could have easily allocated space in the public seating area. This level of mismanagement and disrespect is unacceptable.
I expected at least a professional response from management if they truly aim to provide the best service, but clearly, customer satisfaction means nothing to them. Avoid this place at all costs if you don’t want your special...
Read moreIt's always a heated discussion amongst us friends whenever we a plan a night out. We start deciding the dinner place a couple of days prior, and it's a routine that we never end up choosing the place that is our first option.
Well this time around, we started from dha raya and ended up at Tenerife Café. This cafe used to be my go to place before covid, but for some reason we stopped going there after some time, so I was particularly excited to revisit my memories of Tenerife Cafe. Fortunately, this decision was a good one as we had quite a good time there. For starters we ordered:
Nachos 945/- Chicken Fingers 1045/- Chicken Dumplings 1045/- The dumplings were great, they were soft and juicy. The chicken fingers were fairly good and spicy. The nachos were good but I was expecting a little more.
For mains, we got:
The King's Cut Steak 2585/- Tuscan Stuffed Chicken 1745/- Cornbread Crusted Chicken 1595/- Picatta Chicken 1595/- Grilled Peppercorn Chicken 1495/- Florentine Penne Pasta 1345/-
The peppercorn Chicken and the picatta chicken were quite good, sufficient serving size and flavourful. The steak was fulfilling, perfectly medium done, served in a conventional way on a sizzler. I like my steaks with less amount of sauces, but I liked this one too although it was entirely covered in sauces. The cornbread crusted chicken was the winning dish of today. It was the bestest dish among all. The pasta however was just average, could've been much better. The stuffed chicken was just how it should be, good though.
To satisfy our sweet tooth, we opted for Hit Me Brownie 895/-, New York Cheesecake 845/-, Molten Lava Cake 895- Didn't like the cheesecake but the molten lava and the brownie were absolutely amazing.
I rate this entire experience 8.5/10. Overall it was a nice and wholesome experience. We were 6 and the total damage including drinks and all was 20k, which is approximately 3300 per head, a good value for money for a three course meal. *all of us ordered fancy drinks

Read moreWe all have craving to eat something really delicious and tasty in sunday breakfast. So this sunday we went to Tenerife cafe to try their breakfast. I am always crazuy about food and a good ambiance. The ambiance there was really nice as I mentioned in one of my previous posts. While sitting at first floor near glassed wall of Tenerife cafe which gives view of their green trees and plants, it was filling the room with natural light was kind of very relaxing for me. A good blend of nature and that is all what we want from a good morning. The breakfast menu is really good. I am sharing their breakfast menu here as well. They had a desi food option too but I decided to order stuffed Chicken mushroom omelette. While waiting for food, we took some real good pictures there :D becuase why not ? If you have a good place to take pictures then never stop right? :D You can see them in swipe as well. The first thing I always notice is the presentation of food and it did not disappoint me. Full points there. So in my order I was served with my chicken mushroom and cheese all rolled in eggs heavenly. Along with it, they served baked beans and mashed potatoes. I love mushrooms and eggs and the taste of chicken with mushrooms in omelette was so delicious. Right quantity of everything wrapped in eggs and in each bite of it I could tell what it inclludes by the taste of it. In short, a perfect taste did exist for me. Last but not the least, breakfast is not complete without a good tea and I am really serious about taste of tea. Its a big NO for me if a breakfast served and tea is not up to the mark. but their mix tea was really good. My over all experience there was really pleasing. I loved their ambiance and food. Above all, what matters is the company you have. I had bunch of really good friends there with me at breakfast and thats where the happiness is. A group of good friends, loved once and table full of good and delicious food always...
