Bundu Khan, Bahria Town Lahore – 19th July, around 11 am Dropped in with my wife for a classic Halwa Puri breakfast – something I’ve genuinely looked forward to, having been a fan of Bundu Khan since the laxami Chowk days and their legendary chicken roast.
We ordered a single serving, which has always been more than enough for us. But I was shocked at how ridiculously small the serving of chana was – the smallest I’ve ever seen with two puris on the plate. When I politely asked for a refill, the floor manager himself showed up, not to help, but to explain that no refill would be offered if the meal was being shared. Honestly, a bizarre and customer-unfriendly policy.
What made it worse was that without me even asking, he suggested ordering chicken chana instead (which itself is a full meal) – clearly trying to upsell rather than assist. Completely missed the point.
Bundu Khan is a strong name in Lahore’s food scene – but experiences like these seriously damage the brand. If you can’t offer a decent serving of chana with a halwa puri plate, at least don’t deny a basic refill. Charge more if you must, but don’t treat customers like they’re trying to cheat you.
Also, please train your staff – especially your floor managers – to act like hosts, not salesmen. Hospitality is about experience, not squeezing extra orders.
What’s disappointing is I had actually planned to bring a group of 10–15 friends the next day. That plan’s scrapped, and personally, I won’t be returning. Sharing this publicly not out of spite, but because I’d hate to see more loyal customers turned away over something as silly as 20...

Orderd just a simple cup of tea for a take away in my car at bahria town lahore's branch. They took almost 25 mins and brought me tea; which was in a plastic bag and that plastic bag was tied up in a cup and that cup was again tied up in a bag!!!! Like Seriously? I asked the waiter to bring me tea directly in the cup and not in a plastic bag; the waiter took further 3 mins and came back with the cup which was completely spilled with tea all over it and handed it over to me. It was funny but the moment i took my first sip, few drops of tea fell on my clothes and in my car as well. I then realised that the cap of that cup is leaking. Finally i asked the waiter to take back their amazing tea and refund me and he refused to do so. He dared to say no after what happened, interesting isn't it! Well i asked him to call THE MANAGER and glad they refunded me.
It was a rainy day and i craved tea to compliment the weather but thanks to Bandu khan for ruining my day!
Won't recommend at all to order their tea. With a single sip i can say it...
Read moreSo disappointed that I cannot share any pics at all. Food is no doubt satisfying but twice we came in this branch and twice our order never came without following up and only Allah knows why. At first visit, we almost finished up our food when Egg Fried Rice alone never came. At the end to find out it was not added to our order. Second visit was today, and for 3 simple dishes (soup, salad and cheese naan) they cannot serve this on time and proper. I finished my soup and the cheese naan and salad never came. I told them to cancel it because my son was just watching me eating and waiting for nothing. We were told for 1min (which is obviously impossible to happen) but still we waited and only the salad came soon after. Then I was about to finish the salad again and my son just watching. This time I asked for the bill and that's the only time cheese naan came. We didn't sit back again. I just told them to pack it and I paid 2071rs for all. Truly overrated and expensive. I think they are overstaffed that they are too congested in the ground floor standing and...
