The Vintage Home — Restaurant in undefined

As a traveler from the US and first-time visitor at the nearby Serena Hotel in Mingora, I was pleased to recently discover the charming Vintage Home Cafe while strolling through my hotel's neighborhood early one morning. To my surprise, the lovely two story bakery/restaurant/cafe had a large variety delicious Continental/European-style bakery items to choose from that I was happy to find so far away from home. Impressed at my discovery, later during my trip I had the Vintage Home Cafe cater a local event I organized which turned out to be a big hit with all my guests! A sample of bakery items I ordered and can highly recommend include their apples pies, pecan pies, oatmeal cookies, chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies and cheesecake. Lastly, a big shout out to The Vintage Home's co-owner Jamal Shah for taking the time to speak with me about his business and introduce me to his pastry chef who explained to the intricate process of how their cheesecakes are created. This bakery started off very good but with time the quality has deteriorated. My last 3-4 orders were disappointing Today I ordered a death by chocolate brownie cake but what I received was a simple cream sponge cake. When I called to discuss if there was a mistake, I was given strange explanations that brownie cake is actually a cream cake with only brownie sponge 🤔 The cost of 1 pound cake is around Rs 1200 which is even higher Tehzeeb, Layers or other bakeries in Islamabad. The Vintage home Bakery Shop is famous for Thier chocolate cupcakes and coffee, my family is fond of it. So I was there to buy Cupcakes. But there are more yummy food products such as Cakes, brownies and other which attract me to buy these as well. the cafe was silent and peaceful , decorated with many paintings and creative things. the thing i like the most there is the presences of novels and magazines on the table . there is no parking issue in front of it.
