Chatta's at Tariq Market F-10/2 offers a delightful culinary journey that leaves a lasting impression. The Special Dam Matka Biryani, Chicken Karahi, Beef Seekh Kababs, and Chicken Malayi Boti are simply irresistible, leaving diners yearning for more with each bite.
The atmosphere exudes warmth and charm, providing a serene backdrop for a memorable dining experience. Hassle-free parking further enhances the visit, ensuring peace and relaxation throughout.
I wholeheartedly recommend Chatta's to anyone seeking culinary bliss. It's an excellent choice for breakfast, especially on weekends. The welcoming staff, efficient service, and the freshness and taste of the food make every visit a joy.
Chatta's, though relatively new, has quickly gained popularity for its quality, taste, and diverse menu offerings. Their selection of desi nashta and traditional dishes like karahis, handis, nihari, payay, lassi, and doodh jalebi is unparalleled in Islamabad.
The indoor and outdoor seating options provide flexibility, while the music adds an extra layer of vibrancy to the dining experience. Chatta's stands out as a beacon of exceptional desi cuisine in Islamabad, inviting patrons to savor...

Drove there and the first impressions of the restaurant was really good. Nice, clean, albeit a relatively small setup, a wheelchair accessible entrance, and courteous staff.
As it was our first time here, we started off with something lowkey to get a taste of the place. Dal Chawal seemed like a nice bet.
Well, it wasn't. The daal was a bland, liquidy mess (it should be dense and somewhat spicy for daal chawal), two kebabs were perched atop the boiled rice and they felt cold and stale, the raita that was served was very sour (dahi must be old). The only redeeming factors were the fluffy rice and a well-made kachumber salad.
The price was Rs. 240/serving. Nothing too steep. But with the quality of food that was presented, I wouldn't trust them to do well with the more expensive items on the menu.
Go there only if you haven't yet experienced...

If you are in Islamabad and want to have some Good Desi food then folks, it doesn’t get any better than this in Islamabad.
Had their special Breakfast Thali, Murgh Channay, Khageena, Palak Paneer, Channay Kee Daal Aur Paratha and Beef Nihari.
First of all I’m an old admirer of their Channay Kee Daal which is served with a Tabdoori Paratha and trust me folks, it’s amazing. It’s pretty much close to Mian Gee Kee Daal of Kharian.
Their breakfast thali is a must if you want to have a taste of Keema, Alu Bhujiya, Channay, Halwa, and boneless Haandi… served with Rothko Naan and Puris, it’s a feast for sure.
Murgh Channay are good but not Lahori good as Lahore surely take the lead in Murgh Channay… it’s mild in taste and would suggest to add some salt and green chilies to them.
Khageena I loved and it was made to perfection but wish they would serve a Tawa Paratha with it than Tandoori Paratha… but still it’s a must try.
Palak Paneer is a good add on and wish it was a bit more spicy.
Overall an...
