We went on a rainy weekend day and at noon we were the second group that arrived. We were charged $10 for any hut space and $2 additionally per adult. We were told that during weekdays, there is no charge.
The beach area was calm and clean, the restaurant looked clean and even though we didn't eat inside (since we paid for the hut space), we were disappointed with the food. It was rather expensive and the fish I asked for was very raw before I asked them to cook it more. The $12 dish was basically a small filet either rice, fried plantains (patacones) or something else. It gets better, it is reminiscent of the 1980s. They serve you in styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery, at a beach where lots of this ends up drifting unwind on to the ocean. Ok food wise the onion ceviche is great. Small chunks and slices carefully selected of fine white and red onions sprinkled with a dash of fish.
Service was as expected,...
