Maru 79 KOREAN CUISINE & K-BBQ — Restaurant in Asuncion

It was really a bad experience. They took our orders wrong, then brought something we didn't order. I took the wrong order so they wouldn't have to throw it away. They brought one of my orders (of two) and forgot someone else's order. They were bringing the orders and got confused so many times about who ordered what (we were 11 at the table). Also if they brought it or not. At the end, they brought the ticket, we were checking the dishes we had and I told them they forgot mine, once that said, she went to the kitchen "to ask if they made the dish" and changed the ticket (which of course was more expensive afterwards). It ended up with her bringing a new ticket, telling us the food did arrive (it didn't) and in a really unpleasant way saying they wouldn't charge us. But they did. All of it. At the end, because I didn't finish my food, I asked if I could take it home, she answered yes but we charge for each plate. And that she won't charge this time. It is something very common to ask the food you didn't finish to take home, but it's the first time in my entire life it'd be charged for that.

It was an overall REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. From all the bad treatment, we forgot to ask for the bill's tax. Never ever going back to that place.

Also, it doesn't look like a restaurant (more like a house back yard) and the food was kinda expensive...

This place is on the avenida Peru and it's tricky to find a parking spot but luckily we havent had a super difficult time.

Food: 1.side dishes come in usually 6 but here they serve 12!! It's amazing and taste good. Good variety of veggies and kimchis and other things. Main dishes.. we ordered jjajangmeon and bibimbab. Jjajangmeon (45.000) was too small whereas bibimbab (45.000)was humongous- where I couldnt finish at all.. need to adjust serving size. It's full of veggies ans tastes good & fresh. Steamed dumpling(30.000) was meh.. tastes weird.

Service: normal good service, nothing to complain about!

Will we return ? Maybe. Food is ok- not bad not outstanding. Like this review if this helped you...

Waiters needs to be more trained, the portion of the foods are WAY less then anothers k-restaurants, and are so miserly with the complementary side foods

Responding: At no point did I have a disdainful attitude towards your staff. We ordered three main courses, so if they were to sit at three different tables, there would inevitably need to be sides for each one. However, you preferred to provide only one side and harass the customer by calling them poor or rude. Everyone has the right to express themselves freely.
