Fantastic. I'm an American who has been visiting Chiclayo regularly for almost 30 years, visited Fiesta for the first time with 5 native Chiclayanos for a birthday celebration. Many newer Chiclayo restaurants have abandoned traditional food for US-influenced meals; Fiesta has not. While the menu includes some global spirits and a bit of non-Peruvian (eg Cuban) influence, the menu includes some unusual and extremely local recipes. We each had 1 cocktail and an entree, shared ceviches and desert; NS987 for the six of us before tip. Yes, that is pricey for Peru, but a bit below average for a sit-down dinner in Chicago IL USA. Flavor and preparation of food was exceptional, cooked perfectly and good-sized portions. Local Chiclayo food is among the best in the world but is often served quickly with huge portions. Fiesta captures the local cuisine, cooks it carefully, and serves it with pride. Cocktails were also great; we did not order wine. Service was patient and loving. We sat in one of a few private rooms, but the bar areas and other dining areas are also beautiful. By Chiclayo standards the atmosphere is great, comfortable, and clean but the workmanship and upkeep here just isn't up to European/big city US standards. Overall just a wonderful meal and a...
Read moreThe restaurant is in more residential part of town, as you arrived, the doorman will ring you in and someone will show you to your seat. The service is amazing, they go over the menu and explain it to you. the food is even more amazing! The fish is as fresh as can be with beautiful presentation and vived colors, the flavors are just right and like a symphony in your mouth. It is a culinary journey to the cuisine of Chiclayo. A must...
Read moreExcelente ambiente.
