This is a restaurant “touristico.” Prices are double that I could find for locals, which is fine,but with this pricing i would expect to find touristico methods. Higher pricing means higher expectations if things go awry. We ordered a burger that was bright red meat. Unfortunately we aren’t as adventurous with red meat due to previous incidences of food poisoning. This restaurant has previous reviews of food poisoning. We sent it back to cook further, but the meat was still bright red. We did not eat it, but were asked to pay 80% of the cost. We settled at half the cost even though we only had a few bites. If this were a restaurant for locals, I’d be fine with it. But as a restaurant with tourist pricing, the lack of customer service for tourist methods...

We ordered the empanadas and the ceviche. The empanadas were simply ok (reheated but cold) but the fish used for the ceviche wasn't fresh! We ignored the fishy smell and texture and tried it anyways. We both started having stomach pain on the same day, and had to go to urgent care the next morning to get antibiotics. The test results said we got salmonella.

The food is delicious, the prefix meal cost more than most places but the value is more than most places. I loved the crispy skinned grilled trout and quinoa flan. The meat soup was also very flavorful. The chef is very much in love with her work and it shows. The server seemed a bit overwhelmed and could not communicate clearly with us.
