These high and mighty Google reviewers are confused that they are dining in a Michelin recommended restaurant while they are paying a budget price for a tour to Rainbow Mountain. This restaurant exists for the sole purpose to feed hungry travelers before and after their once in a lifetime experience at Rainbow Mountain. All things considered, the facilities are spacious, and well maintained by all of the hard-working staff. The secondary dining room off to the side is a little bit cooler and more spacious and the washroom at the back is not only clean but immaculately clean. It was in fabulous shape in the morning and for the lunch rush. The staff is hard-working and cleaning all the time. And to be honest, the food is 3 out of 5 stars but if you know how to pick and choose and plate it properly, you can make a gorgeous plate of nachos that will satisfy any hungry traveler . People suffering from altitude sickness and a good bout of car sickness and dehydration and overheating should not be making critical restaurant in all of these type of tourist feeding trough that I've experienced this one is...
Read moreWow! I wasn’t expecting much for an included breakfast buffet and lunch as part of our Rainbow Mountain tour. Just finished lunch and the food was delicious! One of the more memorable meals for our two week stay in Peru. I didn’t have much for breakfast since it was early morning at around 5:30am but did try the trio of breakfast beverages which was so tasty and helped me warm up. Now for lunch, I had two plates full of authentic local food and also two servings of dessert. What I appreciated was how it was seasoned well and not salty like the majority of places I tried in Cusco. Thank you for the delicious food, great atmosphere (clean, spacious, heaters), and friendly and...
Read moreIt's a tourist trap. We stopped here for both breakfast and lunch as part of our tour. The quality of the food for the most part is poor, probably a reflection of all the people funnelled through here on tours who have no choice but to come here regardless of the food quality. The tea hasn't had enough time to brew before being brought out so it's basically like hot water. It's also insanely crowded as you can imagine. The meals didn't even include water. I would certainly not return here on my own. Much better places to eat. I only provide 2 stars because at least the buffet was kept...
