I have been to this place more than five times and it has never disappointed. No wonder it is always packed. It is a three story restaurant that serves the best selections of Peruvian seafood. Food comes out pretty quick and not because it has been sitting there for a while but because it is a fact paced environment and they definitely know what they are doing and they do it very well. My favorite dish is Ceviche de Conchas Negras. You can not always be as lucky as to arrive and have it available. It depends on Market availability and government fishing rules that protect sealife. Dishes cone in quite generous portions so feel free to share and order as you go. I would say, NOT ALL AT ONCE!!!!! Because you will have too much food go to waste. Their servers are super quick, knowledgeable and are there when you need them there exuding their Peruvian hospital they pride themselves with. Definitely a Place to visit when in Lima!!!! You will not be...
Read moreI’ve heard about this place and decided to give it a try and it was all mainly hype. The service was great the servers were very attentive. The ambiance was a bit too loud but fun at the same time and a bit confusing. They sing birthday jams but throw on sombreros and say viva Mexico at the end. There is absolutely nothing Mexican about this place which makes it confusing. The food portions were very large which balances out the very high pricing. However, I’d rather have a small portion of something good than a huge portion of some mediocre food. The leche de tigre was extremely salty, the pulpo olivo the octopus was fresh it was a bit too oily, the arros de mariscos was a bit too wet but I know that’s a trendy way of making it now days in Lima, the fried seafood was the best it could’ve been better if it too had less salt. I doubt I’ll be...
Read moreThe Place to go for ceviches/tiraditos/raw and cooked seafood in Lima. Highly recommend for those that love Ceviche. Between the atmosphere, selection and service. Truly top notch. We went for a friend's post wedding lunch, so we did 6/7 dishes family style. Besides the chupes langostinos (lobster soup) I got on my own. Was incredible. Between the tiradito mixtos, ceviche, arroz con Mariscos, Causas. chupes Langostinos (lobster soup), and Pulpo (Octopus) with Ber wine and a number of other drinks as well,...
