My boyfriend and I were born and raised in Lima. We both lived in that neighborhood when we were very young, but moved to another country more than 30 years ago. I remember clearly that this place used to be a bakery. We used to hang out in one of those corner where Carlitos had a store or a Chifa…can’t remember…but great memories, that is for sure!!! We try to visit Lima every year and visit our moms, who are still living in the area. So one day driving around and craving some good seafood, we came across you, and we were so delighted. We loved it. The food is delicious, the environment nice but what really made it for us to keep coming back every day while visiting Lima, was Manuel. What a lovely person! He was so welcoming. Hoy fui en familia a almorzar, mi esposo, mi bebé de 1 año y mi abuelita una persona de la tercera edad , llegamos aprox a las 2pm, no había mesas a lo que me dijeron que me colocarían en lista de espera, normal, considerando que nos indicaron de 15 a 20min de espera. Pasaron 45min para que nos dieran una mesa, podemos entender que no depende del todo del personal, pero si sugerimos pongan a cargo a personas que tengan un poco más de empatía, al ver que estábamos con un bebé y una persona mayor, parados bajo el sol, fueron incapaces de ofrecernos una silla al menos para mi abuelita. Cuando por fin nos dieron la mesa fueron aprox otros 45min para que nos trajeran la comida. Pedimos un ceviche y un chicharrón para compartir y nos trajeron el ceviche de primero y a la media hora el chicharrón, ya no tenía sentido porque la idea es comer el ceviche junto con el chicharrón.
