Sala Omakase — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

One of the best culinary experiences I have had in my life. The 8-course tasting menu was as creative as any meal I have had; every dish was a delicious mix of amazing and unexpected flavors and textures--a perfect blend of Peruvian and Japanese cuisines. It was truly unforgettable and far better than some of the higher priced competitors I have tried in Lima. The prices (around 100 soles or 30 USD at lunch) are unbeatable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Tuve una muy buena experiencia en Sala Omakase, ubicado en La Molina. La comida fue excelente, con una fusión peruano-japonesa muy bien lograda y un enfoque claro en la frescura de los ingredientes. El personal fue muy atento y el ambiente, aunque pequeño, se sintió acogedor y moderno, ideal para una experiencia tipo omakase.

Es importante saber que se necesita reservar con anticipación, ya que el espacio es limitado. Disfruté del menú de 8 tiempos, pero sentí que las porciones eran bastante pequeñas y la variedad algo limitada para tratarse de un omakase. Tuve que pedir un plato extra porque me quedé con hambre.
