Foreigners beware, the owner will greatly inflate the prices and cheat you.

My wife and I ordered two simple meals that were clearly priced on the menu as 40 soles each. We asked to have no rice, no yuca, and no potatoes for sides, and instead have a salad or vegetables. The owner clearly understood what we wanted because she delivered our dishes without any rice, yuca, or potatoes, and only with a very, very small side salad.

When it was time to pay she wrote down on a note pad 60 soles for each entree, and a 30 soles upcharge for the salad (in addition to the extra 20 soles per entree).

I had taken a photo of the menu and showed her our meals were supposed to only be 40 soles but she started speaking very animatedly and insisted I paid the 150 soles. It was one of those situations where you know you are being taken advantage of but without being a Spanish speaker I couldn't argue with her. I paid the 150 but we will...

Este años si encontramos mal al restaurante, la atención muy mala, falta organización por parte de los dueños , que decían que los empleados son nuevos y no saben ,pero el dueño es el encargado de capacitar , demoraban en atender , a unos le dieron el café a otros el tamal , no dieron los panes, traían los panes , no los jugos, sirvieron cafés, la azucarera sin azúcar, ...
