Casa Andina Premium Valle Sagrado Hotel & Villas offers a peaceful escape in a stunning countryside setting, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Sacred Valley. The resort feels like a serene retreat, with both hotel rooms and private villas nestled into beautifully landscaped gardens on a hillside.
From the moment you arrive, the large, welcoming lobby—with its cozy fireplace and inviting bar—sets the tone for a relaxing stay. The on-site restaurant serves a plentiful breakfast buffet each morning, offering a wide variety of delicious options to fuel a day of exploration or relaxation.
The rooms are very comfortable, thoughtfully appointed to ensure a restful stay. The grounds are immaculately maintained, with lush gardens and scenic views everywhere you look. There’s also a lovely spa on-site for those seeking extra relaxation, and a refined gift shop offering quality local goods. Just outside, a small artisan market features women in traditional Peruvian dress selling beautiful handmade crafts, adding an authentic cultural touch to the experience.
A standout feature of the resort is its on-site planetarium—a must-do activity during your stay. It offers a fascinating opportunity to learn about Incan astronomy and stargaze under the clear Sacred Valley skies, making for a memorable and educational experience.
A helpful tip: this resort is large and spread out over hilly terrain, with many steps and stairs throughout the property. Even if you’re usually independent, I recommend accepting assistance with your luggage—you’ll appreciate the help navigating the beautiful hillside pathways.
Casa Andina Premium Valle Sagrado is an ideal place for travelers looking for tranquility, comfort, and a genuine connection to the Sacred Valley’s rich culture and natural beauty. Highly...
Read moreStayed here with family for 2 nights. Overall the property is very nice but I am giving it 3 stars for two reasons. Everything in the resort was extra. E.g. Bonfires, stargazing through telescope. Typically premium resorts have these things included. The second and main reason for low rating is that the food in the hotel restaurant is atrocious. It’s the worst food we ate on our Peru trip. Everything we ordered was sub par compared to even the roadside places we ate at. I ordered chicken creole soup and got something looking like Pho with big chunks of chicken, boiled egg in clear broth with zero flavor. There were no other options close by to the hotel so we had no option but to waste our money on bad food for two nights. Second night, we saw another smaller menu that was not given to us previous night and it had sandwiches and burgers listed on it. They were serving hamburgers from the Menu only if you had reserved and paid extra for a Pergola outside! But we were able to order club sandwich from the menu that was good.
Staff is very friendly and they accommodate your needs. They had board games and special sitting areas to play games. Kids enjoyed feeding the Alpacas which was a surprisingly free activity.
It’s quite far from Ollantaytambo city center, ruins and train station. In hindsight, I would stay not here just based on the terrible food. It would have been better for us to stay at some other hotel near the city center so we had better...
Read moreThis is by far my favourite hotel during our stay in Peru. The rooms are in chalet-style houses with lovely manicured plants, greenery all around, and great views of the stunning Andes. It's a peaceful, quiet place to relax and acclimatize to the altitude. We saw hummingbirds flittering and feeding, which was a delight. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are clean and well- decorated, with lovely balconies and views of the mountains. The breakfast buffet and the on-site restaurant was nice. During dinner, there was a musician playing traditional Peruvian music, which was nice. There is an on site spa, which we didn't have time to check out. There are 2-3 lovely local ladies selling souvenirs on the hotel grounds, we bought some small items from them as they were very reasonably priced. There is a gift shop for alpaca items in the hotel as well. A cool thing to note is that for an extra fee you can book a visit to the on-site planetarium. There, a knowledgeable individual will explain to you some of the constellations and stars that you see, and you will have an opportunity to look at the starts via the on-site telescope. There is also a short presentation about the Incas and the constellations. I found it interesting. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there. Only thing is that there is nothing really to do outside the hotel, but a short taxi ride can take you to the nearest town in the Sacred Valley if you want. If you're thinking of booking this...
