Restaurante Candelaria — Restaurant in Yanque

Tourist trap. The only traffic they get is from tour busses. it is about a 10 minute walk back into town for your only other meal options. Cost is 30 soles for the buffet with all drinks extra. they have a varied selection of veg and non veg dishes. nothing was memorable, most were edible, but all the pasta was rancid and inedible. The alpaca lomo saltado was a safe way to try alpaca meat. I'm sure everyone can find enough food to fill their belly, it just wont taste as good as a 12 soles lunch special back...

Tourist trap, forced to come here because they have a relationship with the local tour organiser.

If the tour group wanted us to eat here, have the courtesy to put it in as part of the overall package, and not pass it off as the only restaurant available in this area.
